Introduction. Surface Active Agents. Dissolution of Amphiphiles in Water. Micelle Formation. Application of Thermodynamics of Small Systems to Micellar Solutions. Micelle Temperature Range. Stability of Colloidal Particles. Adsorption of Surfactants. Solubilization. Mixed Micelle Formation. Micellar Catalysis. Photochemistry in Micellar Systems. Interaction Between Amphiphiles and Polymers. Index.
